May 14

James Garner, 72, Bridgeport, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a complaint of on imparted driver on Route 1 about 2 p.m. He was also charged with fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer, criminal damage to state supported propers and illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage.

May 15

Gary Brashear, Vincennes, reported a burglary from a residence in the 2000 block of North Route 33 about 7:15 p.m. The damage to the property is valued more than $500. The Theft is valued under $500.

May 16

Justin Hyatt, 29, Yale, was arrested for driving under the influence following a stop for an equipment violation about 12:50 a.m.. He was also cited for a defective registration light.

Joy Parkes, Robinson, reported a theft about 6:30 a.m. of three coins valued over $500 from the 12000 block of 1150E.

Tara Littlejohn, 30, of Robinson, struck with a deer on Route 1 near 1550N about 1:44 a.m. Her 2019 Toyota sustained over $1,500 damage.

Vickie Kitchen, 48, of Willow Hill, struck an object in the roadway, on Route 33 near 300E about 1:41 p.m. Her 2014 Chevrolet sustained damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle estimated over $1,500 and was towed from the scene.

Jameson Howell, 33, Palestine, left the roadway on North Trimble Road near 1150N about 8:30 p.m. His vehicle struck the ditch and several trees sustaining more than $1.500 damage and was towed from the scene. Howell was transported to Crawford Memorial Hospital by United Life Care Ambulance. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The Robinson Fire Protection District assisted at the scene.

May 17

Jamie Lanham, 21, Palestine, failed to negotiate the curve on 1775E at 1300N about 12:24 p.m., leaving the roadway and striking the ditch before coming to rest in a field. The vehicle sustained over $1,500 damage and was towed from the ditch.

Adam Pickering, 18, of West Union, collided with a deer on Route 1 near Route 33 about 4:19 p.m. His 2005 Buick sustained more than $1,500 damage.
