John E. “Jack” Simons, 88, of Casey, Ill., passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Casey Healthcare Center at Casey.
He was born Sept. 27, 1931, at Robinson, Ill., the son of Earl and Catherine Bradberry Simons. On Nov. 28, 1960, at Lawrenceville, he married Twila Clark.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Teressa Wilson of Madison, Miss., and Cathy (Bill) Pine of Martinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Dustin (Melissa) Chapman of Madison, Miss., Tannor Wilson of Casey, Jarret (Heather) Pine of Andover, Ill., and Lainey (Ben) Jarvis of New Palestine, Ind. and great-grandchildren, Caiden Shows, Hadley and Knox Chapman of Madison, Miss., Jackston and Dylan Pine of Andover, Ill., and Brayden and Blake Jarvis of New Palestine, Ind.
Jack retired from Marathon in 1986 after 34 years of service. He had assisted with the coaching with the Casey Truckers softball team. He and his wife enjoyed living next to the Casey Park where they spent much time.
