Flat Rock First Missionary Baptist Church

During our shelter in place, all church activities and worship services have been suspended until further notice.

Pastor J.D. Branson’s Sunday morning messages may be viewed on Facebook live each Sunday at 10 a.m.

Also, at 6 p.m. Thursdays, Pastor J.D. leads a Bible study which can be viewed on Facebook as well.

On Thursday, May 21, a drive-by birthday parade and card shower was conducted in honor of Pastor J.D.’s birthday. Several church members lined up in their decorated vehicles to offer birthday wishes. Also, Pastor and Amy’s evening meal was provided for them to enjoy.

Crawford County Catholics

With Bishop Paprocki’s permission, Holy Communion will be distributed without public Mass beginning at 4:30 p.m. Saturday

Pertaining to social distancing, there are no more than 10 people allowed in the church at the same time. A short prayer service will be held with an opening prayer, Our Father, distribution of Holy Communion and blessing. Those who have already received Holy Communion are asked to leave the vhurch after reception so that others may have the opportunity to receive.

Holy Communion also will be distributed at 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, 7:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at St. Elizabeth and 9 a.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Lourdes. It will also be distributed at noon Tuesdays beginning June 2.

Crawford County has two parishes: St. Elizabeth in Robinson and Our Lady of Lourdes in Oblong. Both are administered by Fr. James Flach at the Catholic Parish Center near the Community Center in Robinson.

Mass Times: St. Elizabeth: Weekly Masses are on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at: 7:30 a.m., Tuesday at noon, Wednesdays Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament 8-10 a.m., Saturday Vigil Mass: 4:30 p.m., Sunday Masses: 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. Our Lady of Lourdes Parish: Sunday Mass: 9 a.m. Confessions are 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth or by appointment. Mass is not being held at this time.

Robinson First United Methodist

Everyone is invited to join Robinson First United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 24 for worship! Even though there is no public worship service, we will still be live-streaming a service on www.robinsonfumc.org and on WTYE 101.7 FM at 9 a.m. Pastor Jay Regennitter will be preaching and Janelle Oxford will be serving as liturgist. A musical offering will be given by Grant Oxford.

Also on Sunday, Adult Sunday School classes will meet online at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. Older Elementary Sunday School will meet online at 6 p.m. On Monday, May 25, Younger Elementary Sunday School will meet at 4 p.m. On Tuesday, May 26, Adult Bible Study will meet at 6 p.m. On Wednesday, May 27, High School Refresh Bible Study will meet at 10 a.m., Kids’ Club will meet at 4 p.m., Worship Committee will meet at 5 p.m., Middle School Refresh Bible Study will meet at 6 p.m., and Stephen Ministry will meet at 6:30 p.m. On Thursday, May 28, Adult Bible Study will meet at 9:30 a.m. All meetings will be held through Zoom.
