The beat goes on for Robinson High School's freshman-sophomore boys' basketball teams, as they swept a pair of games from visiting Paris Monday night.
Robinson won the freshman game, 42-33, while rolling to a 38-19 win in the sophomore game.
In the freshman game, Parker Bopp led RHS (5-3) with nine points, while Noah Tennison and Garrett Blagrave tossed in eight points apiece. Justin Goodwin netted five points, Brody Scott and Mason Shew each scored four and Lucas Roth added three.
In the sophomore game, Bopp again led RHS (5-3) with 12 points, while Wes Harrison scored eight. Wes Wright tossed in seven points, Tennison netted five, Connor Griffin added four and Colin Rains had two.
Also Monday, Oblong downed Hutsonville-Palestine, 66-33.
Jared Mayhew led OHS with 14 points, while Brody Allen tossed in 13. Alec Jacobs and Tyler Woods were also in double figures with 10 points apiece, Zander Laino and Gage Kidwell each netted six, Tristan Woods added five and Chandler Manhart scored two.
Cole Wesner led Hutsonville-Palestine with 11 points, while Trent Newlin scored eight. Billy Sears tossed in five points, Dylan Mason scored four, Johnny Sheil netted three and Mike Watson added two.
Robinson will play at Effingham Thursday at 6:15 p.m. Oblong is next scheduled to play at Hutsonville-Palestine Feb. 11, while Hutsonville-Palestine is scheduled to play host to Marshall Monday at 6:15 p.m.
