Bond set at $2 million for Fuller
An arrest warrant has been issued for Craig Fuller in connection with last week's tank-battery fire.

Crawford County State's Attorney Matt Hartrich secured a warrant on arson charges Friday for Fuller, 31, rural Palestine, in connection with the June 5 fire near Flat Rock.

Fuller was out on $10,000 bail on arson charges from a May 16 hog barn fire, and a May 29 DUI arrest.

Fuller was reportedly injured in the June 5 fire, and is undergoing treatment at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Crawford County Sheriff Todd Liston said officers from his department are contacting the hospital and getting an evaluation of Fuller's condition.

Liston said if Fuller is bedridden they will check on him daily until he can be released. If he is able to be taken into custody and remain in jail without medical attention, they will do so.

Bail for Fuller has been set at $2 million, or $200,000 cash equivalent.

it is terrible that someone was injured but i have known craig since pre school and this is not the craig i knew. he deserves bail to get the help that he is obviously screaming for. i hate that small town people are so narrow minded and can only see the bad someone has done. we get one more person in that holier than thou pew and it might split in half

Why is bail even an option in this particular, repeat offenders case? As stated in this article, was out once on bail...and set another destructive fire in the county where as I recall reading, a person fighting that oil tank battery fire was injured.
