Safari makes science fun
By TOM COMPTON
Daily News

When you mix some chemicals with water, they build up gas and can't be contained. Seventh-graders learned about this concept during the Science Safari held in the Robinson Community Center Thursday, and sponsored by local companies and the University of Illinois Extension Service. Hope Dennis of the Extension office presented seventh-grade students the reality of human fat with this "moist" lump. She also demonstrated how much fat is the food we eat during the Science Safari.
