A man accused of murder has a trial date in Crawford County Circuit Court, while another defendant in the same case has had her trial rescheduled.
Jason Strawbridge, 45, is charged with first-degree murder, a Class M felony, in the July 24 shooting death of Sandra Kendall, 62, Bellair.
He is scheduled for a jury trial beginning at 9 a.m. April 1. Pre-trial hearings in the case are set for 10 a.m. Jan. 30 and March 20.
Strawbridge also faces misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and driving under the influence.
Meanwhile, the trial of Kristine Phillippe, 41, has been pushed back from Jan. 7 to 9 a.m. May 6. Pre-trial hearings are planned for 10 a.m. Feb. 6 and April 17.
Phillippe is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree murder (accountability). Both are Class M felonies.
She is also charged with a Class X felony count of home invasion, a Class 4 felony count of reckless discharge of a firearm and a Class A misdemeanor count of violating an order of protection.
Phillippe was Kendall's daughter and lived in a camper on Kendall's property. She had been ordered to move as part of the order of protection her mother had taken out against her on the day of the shooting.
Strawbridge sometimes listed Kendall's property as his address. Other times he gave a street address in Rocky Mount, N.C., as his residence.
Both defendants remain in the Crawford County Jail in lieu of $1 million cash bond.
