As a result of being arrested last fall, a Robinson man was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Paul D. Linder, 20, formerly of Claremont, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of criminal sexual assault on May 18 and was sentenced, followed by three years to natural life of mandatory supervised release.
Linder was arrested on Sept. 6 by the Oblong Police Department in regards to a crime involving a 19-year old girl. Oblong police assisted in the prosecution of this case.
Crawford County State's Attorney Matthew Hartrich also announced Friday that Rex A. Moore, 39, Robinson, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Moore was sentenced to four years in the IDOC, followed by two years mandatory supervised release.
The Robinson Police Department assisted in the prosecution of this case. Moore was arrested by Robinson police last March.
Another Robinson resident was sentenced to four years in the IDOC on Friday. Ryan E. Stanfield, 35, pleaded guilty and was sentenced, followed by one year mandatory supervised released in regards to the felony charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Robinson police assisted in the prosecution of this case.
