The board appointed Jane Attaway as treasurer and approved the purchase of a treasurer's bond.

In financial matters, board members approved the transfer of Working Cash Fund interest to the Education Fund. They also approved the annual prevailing wage resolution.

Several items were approved for the coming school year. This includes a contract with Crawford Memorial Hospital for athletic trainer services, handbooks for substitute teachers and grade school and high school students and the district Title I plan.

In other business, the board:

• Authorized Patchett to bid milk, bread and fuel.
