1/25/2007 3:09:00 PM Not-guilty verdict deserves more space
As a member of the legal community and a 30-year plus resident of Crawford County, I was saddened to see your tiny announcement of a not-guilty jury verdict on Jan. 19, 2007, on Page 9 of the paper. The jury trial took place two weeks earlier and over a four to five days period. This is amateurish.
Your headline banner of "Police: Drug, alcohol arrests" on Jan. 19 took up more space in the paper, not to mention the two columns of arrests news.
The Daily News readership deserves a much more professional approach to include unbiased reporting and meaningful, timely information.
