PHS/HHS makes us proud

I just wanted to comment on our football team. Our PHS/HHS football team has again given us much to be proud of.

Our regular season games are now over, Now it's time for the playoffs!

Every single year these boys give their all to a sport that takes much time and dedication, and work very well together doing it. Our team is a co-oped sport between the two schools (Palestine/Hutsonville), but when these kids are together, you can't tell the difference between a PHS player and an HHS player, and that includes the cheerleaders, managers and coaches as well. The kids have a lot to be proud of, in the way that they interact.

As a parent of two Pioneer football players (one former), we want them to know that we are very proud of them, all of them!

We will be traveling to play Sidell/Jamaica (Salt Fork Co-op) at 1 p.m. on Saturday. We would encourage all that can make the trip, to attend and help cheer this team on to a V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! These kids, the players, cheerleaders, and managers give us much to be proud of, so we need to fill up those stands and be as loud as we can encouraging them in the playoffs. Every single year, they give their all, and show their PHS/HHS Pioneer Pride, now its time to for us to give them all of the support and encouragement we can.

Robinson, coaches, school officials and the Booster Club have generously allowed us to play on their field this year due to construction at Palestine. They all have been very welcoming to our PHS/HHS players, and coaches. They have a lot to be proud of, and have shown a great example of sportsmanship to our team.

We are behind our PHS/HHS football team, you make us proud!
