Capt. Michael Fiscus

Captain Michael Todd Fiscus, 36, Milford, Ind., died March 26, 2005, in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, April 4, at Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse, Ind. Visitation is 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m, Sunday in the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, 90 N. and State Road 15, Milford, Ind. Military honors will be held at the Warsaw Airport after a procession following the funeral services at the Calvary UMC in Syracuse on Monday.

Alice Sechrest

Alice Kathryn Sechrest, 94, 1101 Robinwood Drive, Robinson, died about 9:42 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Home, Robinson, following several months of declining health.

The funeral is 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, with Rev. Ron Pfeiffer officiating. Burial is in Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is from 1-3 p.m. Sunday.

Heather Bradshaw

Heather Nicole Bradshaw, 33, Edwardsville, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, while on vacation in Deerfield, Fla., as the result of an automobile accident.

The funeral is 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Metro Community Church, Edwardsville, with Pastor Paul Westbrook officiating. Visitation is from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday. Local funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Highland Church of Christ, Robinson, with Pastor Tom Buchanan officiating. Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial is in Richwoods Cemetery, Westfield.

Mary Melvin

Mary Edna Melvin, 88, 405 S. Webster Street, Robinson, died about 8:55 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, following a brief illness.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, with Sister Elaine Lewis officiating. Burial is in Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to service time Friday.

Jean Manuell

Jean H. Manuell, 85, Hutsonville, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Town and Country Hospital, Tampa, Fla.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine, with Rev. Lynette Barnett officiating. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday preceding the service.

Melvia Maxine Pierson, 85, Lawrenceville, died about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine. Burial is in Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Palestine.

Rev. Frank Roberson

Rev. William F. "Frank" Roberson, 63, Monticello, Ky., died about 9:05 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005, in Wayne County Hospital, Monticello, following a two year battle with ALS.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, with Rev. Louis Youngs officiating. Burial is in Kirk Chapel Cemetery, rural Robinson. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday.

Ethel Decker

Ethel Decker, 90, rural Flat Rock, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at his home.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31, at Emmons-Macey and Steffey Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, Vincennes, Ind. Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. Thursday.

Gene C. Holt, 88, Hobart, Ind., died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at his residence.

Private burial was at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, Ind. Celebration of life service was March 24, at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.

Mark Steven "Steve" Murray, 53, rural Palestine, died of an apparent heart condition about 2 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, with Rev. Trent Cloin officiating. Burial is in Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lela Brown

Lela Mae Brown, 86, Greenup, died about 12:50 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Bishop Funeral Home, Greenup, with Rev. Brooke Davis officiating. Burial is in Harmony Cemetery, rural Greenup. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

Kenneth Foley

Kenneth G. "Ken" Foley, 80, Princeton, Ind., died about 7:26 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Gibson General Hospital.

Allen Kent Burgener, 50, Hutsonville, formerly of Olney, died about 10:20 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2005, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. Autopsy results are pending.

The funeral is 2 p.m. today, March 28, at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, Olney, with Pastor Nathan Killion officiating. Burial is in Crest Haven Cemetery, rural Claremont, with full military rites. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

William Gower

William B. Gower, 61, Brandon. Fla., formerly of Robinson, died at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005 at home due to complications of ALS.
