Retired With Honors
Members of Robinson Scout Troop 901 carefully fold a newly-retired flag after lowering it from the pole at the Robinson Elks Lodge Wednesday. The Elks and scouts participated in an early Flag Day ceremony to honor the Stars and Stripes and to officially retire the ragged old flag and replace it with a new one. Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the American flag by the Second Continental Congress June 14, 1777. (Randy Harrison photo)
