A Sullivan, Ind., woman with family ties to Hutsonville died after her vehicle went into the Wabash River at the boat ramp in Hutsonville Saturday.


Three Robinson men get prison on sex, drug charges
As a result of being arrested last fall, a Robinson man was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Community rec center here gets IECC support
The Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Board is giving its support to plans to build a countywide recreation center at Lincoln Trail College.

IECC trustees, meeting at LTC Tuesday, approved a resolution expressing support for construction of the proposed center.

Maroons finish 4th at Big Trojan Invite
A solid effort against a strong field netted Robinson High School's boys' track team a fourth-place finish out of 11 teams at the Big Trojan Invitational in Charleston Wednesday (May 9).

Robinson won two events and finished the meet with 65.5 points, placing them behind only Effingham (129), Mattoon (102.5) and Mt. Zion (96.5), while rounding out the field were Paris (65), Charleston (64.5), Cumberland (48), Lincoln (44), Casey-Westfield (37), Olney (31) and Marshall (16).
