The first distribution of this year's property tax revenues will be available for taxing bodies to pick up Thursday.
Crawford County Treasurer Twyla Bailey said her office will be distributing a little more than $15.5 million.
Taxing bodies that have chosen direct deposit should have received an email Tuesday. Those who have not received a settlement sheet should contact the treasurer's office at 544-2614.
In all, the county expects to collect $32 million in real estate taxes and $67,000 in mobile home taxes.
Deadline for the second real estate tax installment is Sept. 6. Mobile home bills are due Sept. 4 in one payment.
Payments can be made at the treasurer's office in the county annex building 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Payment can also be made by mail.
Taxpayers who would like to pay with a credit card, will have to go through the county website, www.crawfordcountycentral.com, by clicking on the "treasurer" tab and following the prompts. The county's service provider will charge an additional processing fee, however.
