Filings for the March 17 primaries continue to trickle in.
Only one new candidate filed Wednesday and one other filed early today, Crawford County Clerk Fayrene Wright told the Daily News.
On Wednesday, Koert Bartman filed to run as a Republican for precinct committeeman in Prairie 2. Today, Don Daugherty filed as a Democrat for committeeman in Robinson 1.
Republicans who filed previously include: Earl Deckard for coroner, Angela Reinoehl for circuit clerk, Cole Shaner for state's attorney, David Fulling for Crawford County Board District 2, Kevin Dart for county board in District 3, Shane Robinson for county board in District 4 and Jim Keller for county board in District 5.
Other GOP precinct committeeman candidates are Deckard in Oblong Precinct 2, Dart in Licking, Keller in Robinson 8 and Donald Wagoner in Montgomery.
Democrat candidates who filed last week include Vickie Becker for coroner and Charles Wieland and Lugene Bond for precinct committeeman in Robinson 3 and LaMotte 2, respectively.
Matthew Hartrich filed in Springfield as a Republican candidate for at-large circuit judge in the Second Judicial Circuit.
Filing for local offices continues at the Crawford County Clerk's Office in the annex building until 5 today.
